After visiting Bruges, Brussels, the Belgian Capital, was the next logical destination for me to visit. Luckily, I had only planned a short stay there because I didn't find Brussels particularly interesting. You’ll certainly enjoy the Grand-Place, which is beautiful and some other nice monuments, but apart from those, you'll only see row upon row of office blocks and administrative buildings, which remind visitors how important Brussels' role is within the European Union. All in all, I was a tad disappointed by my stay in Brussels. The City is ok but, in my opinion, it is not an un-missable destination.
