After 13 hours of travelling by plane and 8 hours jet lag with France, I eventually arrived at Osaka Airport, which is based on island. I easily found the right train to bring me to Osaka. Because I was the only European in the carriage, some Japanese people were looking at me with curiosity and started talking to me. One of them kindly insisted in bringing me until the lobby of my hostel, to make sure I was safe. The most memorable thing I remember from Osaka is the very friendly tea ceremony, organised free by the hostel.
If you plan to stay 2/3 days in Osaka, here are some ideas of things to see. Please note that most of the photos were taken near Osaka Castle. |
